Los jardines

(the gardens, that is)

Even though the temperature reached well into the 90s (it must have, I was certainly sweltering...), Ryder and I ventured outside on a sunny Saturday to explore the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, which currently have a really cool "sculpture in motion" exhibit throughout the gardens. Most of the sculptures were moved by the breeze, some by human force, and one, by sound! The gardens also had, as you might expect, lots of pretty flowers. So, of course, we took lots of pictures.

  1. We want videos of the motion stuff!  So we can see it in motion of course.  And how big was the green Chihuly glass scuplture?

  2. Well, my camera doesn’t have video capabilities… but I am going to make a video from still photos of the big rock spinning.

The green Chihuly was hanging from the ceiling and was probably 6-8 feet tall, 4 feet in diameter.  It was really cool.
