the brondsema family moves

The Brondsema Home

so, the lovely place that i've called home will no longer be the brondsema's on october 27.

i'm really doing okay with it. it helps a lot that i haven't lived at home for longer than 2 weeks in the past 2 years. and it also helps that i've moved at least twice a year since i started college, so moving and settling is starting to feel normal to me. yes, it will be sad when my family moves out for good. and yes, i'll probably cry. but we'll have a new house in houston (spring break, anyone?), and, as they say... home is where the heart is.

  1. Em - why do you have your cell phone number on this site?  Looking for a date??

    We (Lauryn, Evan and I) logged on looking for aunt Betsy’s wedding photos and didn’t find them.  But I suppose since you took them just last night we won’t bug you too much about it.  When do you think you will post them?

  2. Home is where the heart is. I’ll cry, too, when the house is no longer ours.  It has lots of wonderful memories in it.  But, I’m planning on making lots of new ones.  New Year’s anyone?  I hope I can find peppermint stick ice cream in Houston.
